Fisherton Street Festival In Salisbury
Who doesn’t love Fisherton Street? One of the busiest thoroughfares in the city, it’s home to a wide and diverse range of businesses – from the arty, shopping haven that is Fisherton Mill to retro gems at Foxtrot Vintage Clothing, Indian food at Anokaa, interior gifts at No.44 Homeworks and pottery painting at Splash of Colour.
Fisherton Street Festival is the biggest event in Salisbury between 10am-6pm, bringing together a vast array of mainly specialist businesses, the community, diverse cultures and local churches.
The inaugural festival in May 2015 saw over 7,000 people enjoy a day of live entertainment and processions in Fisherton Street, which was closed to traffic for the day and was lined with craft and food stalls from over 20 countries.
Featuring music and dance, crafts, international street food and a host of other entertainers. The festival aims to celebrate the many different nationalities and cultures in the street, including Chinese, Turkish, Iranian, Polish, Thai, Indian, Jamaican and British.
